Celebrating 25 Years

The scientists and staff at the High Plains Regional Climate Center cordially invite you to the Automated Weather Data Network 25th Anniversary Celebration, to be held Friday, May 11, 2007 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The celebration will take place at the Hardin Center, located at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, East Campus, 3310 Holdrege Street. The program is as follows:

4:00 pm - Opening Remarks

4:05 pm - Establishing Nebraska's Automated Weather Data Network, David Nielsen, USDA-ARS Scientist, Akron, CO

4:30 pm - Live demo of the new "AWDN" web page, Christy Carlson, Regional Climatologist, HPRCC

4:40 pm - Reception in the lobby

6:00 pm - Adjourn

Following the presentations there will be an informal poster and display session with hors d'oeuvres and refreshments.
