SNR Profs to Help Focus on Climate Change

SNR Professors James Swinehart and Ken Dewey will speak at UNL’s Focus the Nation event, January 29-31, in the City Campus Union Auditorium. The sessions are free and open to the public. Focus the Nation is an organization that is holding teach-ins across the country to help raise awareness and prompt action on climate change.

Dewey, a professor of Applied Climate Science in the School of Natural Resources, will give a talk called, “The Arguments Against Those Making an Argument Against Human-Induced Global Warming.”

Swinehart, a professor of Geoscience in SNR, will speak on “20,000 Years of Great Plains Climate Change: Implications for the Future.”
