Dr. Jeff Lazo will give presentation on Integrating Human Dimensions into Climate Information

The Societal Impacts Program aims to improve the societal gains from weather forecasting by infusing social science and economic research, methods, and capabilities into the planning, execution, and analysis of weather information, applications, and research directions. Dr. Lazo’s professional interests are in the areas of nonmarket valuation, value of information, environmental economics, risk perception research, survey research, and econometric analysis. Dr. Lazo completed his Ph.D. and M.A. in economics from the University of Colorado, and his B.A. in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Denver.
