To utilize CSD Drilling Program the following must be performed:

  • Rotary samples will be collected following CSD procedures.
  • Investigator will provide a geologist and helper for sampling.
  • CSD Field Logs will be filled out in detail.
  • Geophysical logs should be run on all rotary test-holes.
  • Split Spoon samples and cores will be properly contained.
  • When wells are augered without coring a generalized geologic log must be completed.
  • All samples with copies of field logs will be delivered to room 15 Nebraska Hall.
  • Original field logs will be provided for filing.
  • CSD Well Completion Logs will be completed for all well installations.

Note: Hourly costs for the Driller and Asst Driller can be used as matching funds if necessary.
