Current ecosystem science research efforts in SNR include carbon balance and greenhouse gas emissions of soybean and maize ecosystems; nutrient dynamics and primary production of aquatic ecosystems; and the interactions of ecology, hydrogeology, and geomorphology in the Sand Hills.
