Geography faculty and student offices are located in Hardin Hall, a modern research and classroom facility that also houses other units of the School of Natural Resources. The facility includes specialized laboratories and several nationally recognized research centers including CALMIT, the High Plains Regional Climate Center, the National Drought Mitigation Center and the UNL Water Center. All Geography students and faculty are provided access to state-of-the-art computing including image processing and GIS software such as ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine and ENVI.
