8/24/10:  Requests for Statements of Interest
Project Title:  Experimental determination of the role of Fe on the growth of Didymosphenia geminata in the Kootenai River, Montana, downstream from Libby Dam:  Water Chemistry. 
Responses to this request for SOIs will be used to identify potential investigators for a project to be funded by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, USACE, Seattle District.  Project to be initiated in FY2011, funded in FY2010.  For a description of work and more details on how to submit a statement of interest click here.

Amendment Five to the GP-CESU cooperative agreement adding the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Installations and Environment) is out for signature.  Please ensure that the appropriate signature is obtained for your institution/agency and returned to Tom Fish as soon as possible, but no later than September 21, 2010.

New Host University Director: We would like to welcome Dr. Sunil Narumalani as the new director of the GP-CESU.  Dr. Narumalani has previously been lead PI on a number of GP-CESU projects and we look forward to working with him in this role.  At this time, we also say Thank You to Dr. Kyle Hoagland for his efforts in bringing the CESU to UNL and his leadership over the last 10 years.  Click here for Dr. Narumalani's contact information.
