Utah State Entomologist
The Department of Biology at Utah State University invites applications for a 12‐month
tenure‐track position in entomology at the Assistant Professor rank (50% Extension, 45%
research, and 5% service). The successful applicant will be expected to develop and implement
education and training programs involving arthropods of economic importance, and to
establish a research program that complements current departmental interests. Potential areas
of focus include field and forage crops, rangeland, turfgrass, and urban entomology. The
position also involves supervision of the Cooperative Agricultural Pest Survey program for the
state of Utah. The successful applicant will be expected to sustain an externally funded research

Invasive Species Biologist
The New York Natural Heritage Program, a partnership between The Nature
Conservancy and the New York State Department of Environmental
Conservation, seeks a highly motivated individual for the Invasive
